Ransom Bailey of Cedar Falls, Iowa

Education:
Cedar Falls public schools, including High School (1931) and Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, with a B.A. degree in earth science (1935).

Migration:
With the exception of his military service in North Africa and Italy during World War II, Ransom Bailey spent his entire life in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  He died at home in the room where he was born.

Occupation:
Insurance and real estate business.

Other Activities:
Ransom was an active member of the Rotary Club of Cedar Falls and enjoyed duck hunting and fishing.

Ransom Bailey was the son of
Samuel Orwell Bailey (1872 – 1945) and Grace Simpson Bailey (1881 – 1964).
